Each Short Base includes: Two protected cut outs for your JKs factory fog lamps, Built in euro-guards protect the fog lamps from the elements while creating an easy mount point and Side filler plates to close off the ends for a finished look.
The Short Base attaches quickly to the frame with two enclosed D-Ring mounting brackets. This four bolt frame mount design provides the toughest bumper attachment found anywhere while creating two overbuilt pull points. This bumper mounts close in on the frame rails, drawing the bumper closer to the body and increasing the approach angle. The narrow overall width gives enormous clearance for the front tires.
The XHD Short Base comes in two designs; Integrated Winch Mount (used in this package) for use with almost any aftermarket winch (including the new Warn Power Plant with optional mounting blocks #11540.15) and Light Mount Base with two light mounting locations.
(NOTE: Installation of the RRC Attachment requires removing the XHD D-Rings included with the base. The RRC Attachment installs in the same location as the XHD D-Rings, but provides you with standard d-ring brackets as a replacement. This package includes the d-rings for the new d-ring brackets.)
